Formatting Instagram Bios with Invisible Spacers
Instagram automatically trims leading spaces and collapses empty line breaks in profile bios. To design a centered bio, add margin spacing, or insert blank lines, you must use Unicode symbols that Instagram reads as active characters rather than whitespace.

How to Add Blank Lines to Your Bio
To insert blank line spacing between bio paragraphs:
- Copy the U+2800 Braille Blank character from the box above.
- Open Instagram, go to your Profile, and click Edit Profile.
- Select your Bio text.
- Paste the U+2800 character on each empty line where you want spacing.
- Click Save to view the formatted bio on your profile page.
Indenting or Centering Bio Text
To center or indent lines, paste the invisible character multiple times before your text. Since the app treats the Braille Blank as a valid symbol, it does not trim the spaces.
